BEFORE
I got this intake manifold from a 1994 Buick Roadmaster, it's the same casting as the Camaro/Firebird intake.

AFTER
After a few hours with the sandblaster, some 220 thru 2000 grit sandpaper, and some aluminum polish...

HOME FROM THE MACHINE SHOP
LT1 intake machined for better coverage over the coolant ports, intake bolts to sit flush with intake, block machined for Cloyes dual chain timing set, assembly of Pro Topline "Iron Lightning" heads, LT4 HOT cam install, 1.6 roller rockers (LT4 HOT cam kit), and upgraded springs.

Valve covers had to be modified for the LT4 1.6 roller rockers.

New black paint for the block and modifications to the fuel rail covers.

PUTTING IT BETWEEN THE RAILS
After cleaning up the wiring harness, I can now remove both valve covers with plenty of clearance.

IDLER PULLEY TO REPLACE THE AIR PUMP
In the attempt to find a replacement pulley, I ordered both the LT1 A/C delete and Third Gen V8 Camaro A/C delete pulley. I found that I could use the LT1 A/C delete pulley as a replacement.

LOKAR THROTTLE CABLE
The stock throttle cable was too long so I went with the Lokar TPI throttle cable. I was able to cut a few inches to make it fit really nice.

ALMOST FINISHED
Only a few little things to do here. Still have to clean up a bit and some day make a cold air intake using the aluminum LT1 elbow.
